Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI)
SRI Symposium Keynote Presentation, Feb 2011
Somato (Body) Respiratory (Breathing) Integration™ (SRI) is designed to offer new ways of experiencing the body and achieving better health. Through focused attention, gentle breath, movement and touch, it teaches us how to better connect to the body’s rhythms and inner wisdom. SRI provides ways to connect with the body, providing a tool for focusing our attention in a way that enhances our healing and empowerment. This work also greatly enhances the effects of Network Spinal Analysis.
Somato Respiratory Integration™ exercises are based on Donald Epstein’s book, The 12 Stages of Healing, and are designed to help us reconnect with the body and increase our awareness of it. The goal of SRI is to help develop lifetime skills to use breath, touch, focused movement and attention to support the body. Through reconnecting to the information and energy in our body, we are able to experience the body more fully, and instantly shift our state of consciousness in order to shift our experiences and perceptions of life, the key determinants to our wellness.
