Energetic Intelligences
Through his studies of many healing and wisdom traditions, and through his work with many thousands of people, Donald Epstein has put forth the idea that each individual is comprised of five complex fields of intelligence. Each of these fields offers a resource for experiencing and working with life.
Different individuals have varying competences with each of the five intelligences. When one has a lower competency in a particular intelligence, it will be something about which he or she consistently worries or focuses, while areas of greater competence are experienced with seamlessness and ease. These five intelligences are the resources we draw upon as we move through The Four Seasons of Wellbeing and work The Triad of Change.
This is the basic energy that keeps our bodies functioning, metabolizing and healing.
This energy stimulates a radical creation of change so that we can instantly shift our behaviour.
This energy allows us to freeze something in time to look at it from many different perspectives in order to create greater understanding of the content and context, and assess whether or not it is a danger.
This energy allows us to recognize the similarity between ourselves and others. When using this intelligence we treat others with love, compassion, respect and we simplify life.
This energy helps us celebrate our differences and our similarities, to give the gifts we have to share with others and receive their gifts. It also gives us the ability to awaken community.
